Super Simple 20-Minute Morning Cleaning Routine For Moms
Morning routines are designed to ease your life. The mornings aren't easy enough. The practice of following a complicated, unrealistic routine will make you a victim before you begin. This is a simple routine. It will have your mornings working on autopilot in the shortest amount of time because, although it is easy, it's also extremely effective!
The tasks listed below are done for a reason. They are the most essential actions you can take to ensure that your house runs smoothly. They are the top priority of cleaning chores!
THE 20-MINUTE MORNING CLEANING ROUTINE
Step 1: Drink 8oz of water daily: less than 1 minute
Step 2: Get your mattress ready (if there is a need, put it aside for the very last): 3 minutes
Step 3: Begin one load of laundry: 2 to 3 minutes
Step 4: Unload the dishwasher: 5 minutes
Step 5: One specific cleaning job or room: 10 minutes
- dust all the usual areas
- wash your counters and mirrors in the bathroom
- complete a forgotten task from yesterday, etc.
Do you have more than 20 minutes to free up early in the day? If you have 10 minutes, take it! 20 minutes of thorough cleaning is awesome; however, 30 minutes are much better!
Let's talk for a second. Did you notice we suggested you make your bed? Why? It's because it's right there...like literally, it's right there in front of you, and incredibly simple to accomplish! A freshly-made bed is like chicken noodle soup for your body and soul. It's also great for your bedroom! Think of it as self-care. Put your bed in order!
We wouldn't recommend going from rooms to making beds early in the morning due to a variety of reasons. It's a waste of time. Children are going to get at the back of the line - Blah, blah, blah. It is important for the 20 minutes you spend cleaning to be used for important things that make the house run smoother.
